Terms of membership.
The agreement between you and us, in plain English.
About these terms
These terms apply to everyone who applies to or is a member of Vouchd. By applying, you agree to them. They sit alongside our privacy policy.
Membership
Membership is by application or invitation. We may accept or decline any application, and we do not have to give a reason. Membership is personal. It cannot be shared or transferred.
You confirm that the information in your application is true, and that you are a founder, co-founder, owner or CEO of the business you describe. Please keep your details up to date.
Your circle
We place you in a small circle chosen around what you are looking for. A person on our team approves every placement. We may change your circle if it is no longer a good fit for you or for the group.
Every member accepts the circle code when joining. In short:
- What is shared in your circle stays in your circle.
- Show up. Attend at least half of your meetings in a season, and tell your host early if you cannot come.
- Bring something of value. Be honest, be generous, be kind.
- No selling to fellow members unless they ask.
Introductions
Dan the Man, our AI-assisted assistant, suggests introductions that a person on our team approves. An introduction is only made when both members agree. What you agree with another member after an introduction is between the two of you.
Conduct
We ask every member to treat others with respect. We may suspend or end a membership if a member:
- Breaks the confidentiality of their circle.
- Misrepresents themselves or their business.
- Harasses, pressures or misleads other members.
- Repeatedly misses meetings without notice.
Fees
Membership terms, including any fees, are shared with you personally after you are accepted and before you commit to anything. We do not charge you without your clear agreement.
Leaving
You can leave at any time. When you leave, you can ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be deleted, as described in our privacy policy.
Our responsibility
Vouchd brings founders together. Advice shared between members is their own, not ours. Make your own decisions for your business. We work hard to keep the service running well, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell members before the change takes effect. Details of the legal entity, governing law and contact will be added here before launch.
